ABOUT ME

Physical Education
Head Volleyball Coach
MMHS
My athletic experience started when I was young. Much like most people I played recreational league sports all growing up; baseball, softball, basketball, dance, gymnastics, swimming, and volleyball. I played on my high school volleyball team and went on to play volleyball at BYU from 2010-2013. I had great experiences at BYU where I learned first hand how to lift weights, manage eating habits, create fitness programs, and much more. I was able to teach a volleyball class at BYU for a semester and really loved interacting with students in a gym setting being active. This is one of the many reason I ended up at Maple Mountain Teaching Physical Education.
I graduated from BYU in 2015 with a Bachelors of Science in Public Health, and a Secondary Education Teaching Certification. I student taught health classes at Alta High School in Sandy Utah from January to April 2015. I was recently married in June of 2015. I started teaching P.E. and coaching volleyball at Maple Mountain High School in August of 2015. I have coached volleyball for 5 years in a club and summer camp setting and wanted to build a program in a community with potential and talent.
